About This Session

No theory, no hype.
A real conversation.

Mel McGee is one of the first business leaders in the region to build a fully agentic AI operating system inside her own organization. Not as a pilot. Not as an experiment. As the way her company actually runs.

In this one-hour session, Mel pulls back the curtain on what that build actually looked like: the leadership decisions that made it possible, the hard lessons that almost derailed it, and the strategic framework her team now uses every day.

If agentic AI, AI maturity, or building real structure behind your AI strategy is on your radar this year, this conversation was built for you.

What You'll Walk Away With

  • A clear picture of what agentic AI actually means for a small to mid-sized organization
  • The leadership conditions that need to be in place before you build
  • A framework for moving from AI experimentation to structured, organization-wide adoption
  • An honest account of what didn't work and why

Who This Is For

Business owners and C-suite executives at small to mid-sized organizations who are serious about AI, whether you're taking your first real look at AI strategy or you already have tools in place and need a structure to hold it all together.

Your Host

Mel McGee

Melanie McGee has spent nearly 30 years at the crossroads of software engineering, AI, and workforce innovation. Long before AI entered the boardroom conversation, she was building it: developing early conversational AI agents and wearable computing systems, applying that technical depth at organizations like Tyco International and DeLorean Motor Company, and teaching at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.

As Founder and CEO of We Can Code IT, she helped more than 1,500 people launch careers in tech, with 90% from underrepresented groups. As CEO and Co-founder of SkillSpout, she now leads AI adoption strategy for small and mid-sized businesses, combining deep technical fluency with a Gestalt-facilitation background that keeps people at the center of every implementation.
